What You Will Be Doing

Remember, everything starts and centers on tickets.  You will be a full-time salesperson making face to face sales calls to the corporate community.  The position will consist of selling corporate ticket packages, including season tickets, mini plans, corporate suites and group tickets. 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • College degree (required), preferably in Sport Management or related field
  • 1-2 years of sales experience with the business side of collegiate, minor league or professional sports is preferred. Experience in proactive B2B sales preferred.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, organized and detail oriented person who can prioritize and follow through with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated individual with focused energy, high degree of responsibility, and sense of urgency and accountability
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Experience with CRM Systems preferred
  • Able to work long hours, weekends, holidays, overtime
  • An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and all levels within the company

Sales & Marketing: Corporate Sponsorship Sales
Corporate Partnership Sales Representative - Gwinnett Braves (Lawrenceville, GA)

This individual will be responsible for selling the Gwinnett Braves corporate partnership assets

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Primary responsibility of selling Gwinnett Braves Corporate Partnership assets

  • Cultivate relationships with company contacts and work to maintain and enhance Gwinnett partnerships

  • Responsible for managing contract process through signature

  • Responsible for managing contract assets and fulfillment once contract has been signed by all parties

  • Maintain sponsorship information within CRM system

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining partnership availability and fulfillment spreadsheets in Excel.

  • Make sure contractual assets are running properly at all times during ball games

  • Responsible for entertaining clients at the ballpark to build corporate relationships

  • Responsible for communicating corporate partnership awareness during game days with guest or season ticket holders who are corporate business owners

  • Responsible for communicating and being main point of contact for day-to-day partner needs including but not limited to: tickets, in-game set-ups, timing and logistics, etc.

  • Facilitate game day sponsorships as required by contracts such as executing gate giveaways by managing sponsored volunteers and fulfilling all experiential opportunities on game days (first pitch, honorary bat kid, radio/TV interviews)

  • Assist with game day duties such as parades, customer service questions and concerns and any other duties as assigned by management

  • Responsible for creating and distributing end of season Proof of Performance materials to clients

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:

  • BS or BA degree in business, sports management, or related field

  • The individual must have 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in sports and/or entertainment industry.

  • Understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to work long hours, weekends and holidays

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to work in fast paced, team environment and handle multiple projects at one time

  • Computer Proficiency in MS Office software

Gwinnett Braves Community Affairs/Promotions Trainee - Gwinnett Braves (Lawrenceville, GA)

The Gwinnett Braves are searching for a passionate, detail-oriented, self-starter with an event marketing and community outreach mindset. Education or experience in graphic design and marketing are welcomed to apply. This Trainee role will assist the Community Affairs/Promotions Coordinator in various aspects of the department with game day promotions/ ceremonies and attending community events. This is a fast-paced, tight deadline environment where schedule flexibility is a must. This position will run full time January – September, including non-game day events, with no guarantee of permanent placement.

- Aid the Community Affairs/Promotions Coordinator with Braves Foundation events and fundraisers, community events, Kids Club, camps, donations, and other Gwinnett Braves community initiatives.
- Aid in developing and executing theme nights and special events.
- Assist in the execution of on-field activities both pre-game and in-game.
- Assist with mascot and promotions team appearance schedule.
- Collect and fulfill donation requests.
- Help maintain the Gwinnett Braves media sites. 
- Be willing and available to help out in other departments with duties assigned.
- Assisting with tarp pulls as needed due to the weather.

Gwinnett Braves Media Relations Trainee - Gwinnett Braves (Lawrenceville, GA)

The Media Relations Trainee will assist the Media Relations Manager in all aspects of the Media/PR department including but not limited to; creating and editing media guides and publications, writing press releases and post-game stories, recording and updating statistical records as well as management of the press box and media requests.

Ticket Sales Trainee will work directly with the entire Ticket Sales Staff to generate multiple ticket packages and group ticket sales.
