What You Will Be Doing

Remember, everything starts and centers on tickets. The position will consist of selling ticket packages, including season tickets, mini plans, corporate suites and group tickets via phone calls and face to face meetings.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • College degree (required), preferably in Sport Management or related field
  • 1-2 years of sales experience with the business side of collegiate, minor league or professional sports is preferred. Experience in proactive B2B sales preferred.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, organized and detail oriented person who can prioritize and follow through with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated individual with focused energy, high degree of responsibility, and sense of urgency and accountability
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Experience with ticketing system (mainly Ticketmaster) is preferred but not required.
  • Able to work long hours, weekends, holidays, overtime and participate in tarp pulls when needed.
  • An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and all levels within the company

Gwinnett Braves Production Trainee - Gwinnett Braves (Lawrenceville, GA)

The incoming trainee will work directly with the Gwinnett Braves Creative Services Manager in all aspects of the production process. Responsibilities include and are not limited to video shooting, editing, motion graphics, graphic design, and assisting with in game production. The trainee's responsibilities include those aspects mentioned along with participation in game day productions. This trainee position offers a unique hands-on experience for those students interested in fulfilling a career in multi-media design, or stadium entertainment.
The Trainee position will require a love for the game of baseball, an eye for detail and dedication throughout the baseball season and able to manage time in order to meet strict deadlines. Exceptional verbal and writen communication skills is a must.  The selected trainee is expected to be available January - September. The hours are demanding and trainees are required to fulfill game day responsibilities for all game day events as well as assisting with pre-production duties falling on non-game days.
Basic Knowledge of the following programs is encouraged but not required.
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Audition

The following programs are required and user must be proficient.
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Premier
Previous knowledge or experience with motion graphic design, non-linear editing, and video production are expected from this position. Gwinnett Braves Ticket Operations Trainee - Gwinnett Braves (Lawrenceville, GA)

The Ticket Operations Trainee will report to and assist the Ticket Operations Coordinator in all aspects of the ticket department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Completing daily tasks of processing payments, printing, and shipping ticket orders

  • Providing excellent customer service to Fans

  • Managing daily Box Office activities

  • Assisting in supervising game-day staff, including drawer reconciliation

    Serving as liaison between Guest Relations and Ticket Operations to solve guest ticketing issues

    Generating daily attendance and financial reports

    Working as ticket seller and will-call attendant, as needed

    Contributing to the success of the Gwinnett Braves by assisting with other duties, as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess:

          Box Office experience

          Working knowledge of ticketing systems

          Excellent Customer Skills

          Ability to work in a fast paced environment while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks

          High attention to detail

          Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Excel

          Must work extended and irregular hours during season, including nights, weekends, holidays, and non-          game days

Gwinnett Braves Ticket Sales Trainee - Gwinnett Braves (Lawrenceville, GA)

Ticket Sales Trainee will work directly with the entire Ticket Sales Staff to generate multiple ticket packages and group ticket sales. Candidate will be responsible for knowing all Gwinnett Braves ticket sales products and identifying what product fits the client/fan the best. Candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast paced sales driven environment. This position is call-heavy and candidate must be able to handle success and rejection in a positive manner.

Ticket Sales Trainee should have excellent people skills, time management and be highly organized. Trainee must also be prepared to work long hours and maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Candidate must be a team player willing to help out wherever they are needed including other departments in the organization. The Ticket Sales Trainee will report directly to the Ticket Sales Manager.

- Generate package and group ticket sales
- Cold call perspective customers in order to meet weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales goals
- Create and implement different theme nights to drive group revenue
- Responsible for generating new business
- Responsible for ensuring that all fans have an enjoyable time at the ballpark
- Supervise different pre-game and in-game group areas
- Visit all personal clients and prospects during games
- Be willing and available to help out in other duties assigned
- Assist with mascot appearances, including performing as the mascot
- Assist with tarp pulls when weather requires the field to be covered
- Assist in all other areas as needed, including providing support for special events run by other departments
- Flexible schedule: available January - September; able to work nights and weekends on non-game days as needed
